These fit perfectly. I have narrow feet and high arches. Put in 18mi through early spring conditions, snow, ice, mud, rock etc with no break in time. Excellent traction, waterproofing and insulation. Hopeful these will last a long time.
I hike every day, and while I have other options, these are my favorite boots. For me, they are the perfect combination of comfort and support, and they also look good, at least until they get muddy😀
I received my pair of Trekkers in Spring of 2021. I have since taken them for adventures on trails in both my home state of Vermont and also in New Hampshire. While I feel that the boots and I are still in the "getting to know you" phase, I must say that I am pretty impressed. My feet have no issue telling me when they don't like a pair of shoes or boots. Blisters used to be a constant struggle and I found myself turning towards lighter weight footwear. With some longer hikes in the rugged White Mountains on the agenda for this year though, I felt it was time to try a more sturdy boot. Enter the AKU Trekkers. I find if I take the time to lace them up correctly, they don't move around much on my feet. I always retie my boots along the hike as well because sometimes they loosen a bit. But I think that this is the start of a beautiful friendship between my feet and the Trekkers. I see many happy adventures in the future. :)
